Bronx Couple To Hold Vigil For Missing Daughter
The parents of the 12-year-old Bronx girl swept away in upstate's Niagara River are planning a candlelight vigil tonight.
The couple told the Daily News they want criminal charges brought against the bed and breakfast owner they trusted to care for their daughter, Magdalena Lubowska.
As of Wednesday morning, her body was not yet found.
A tour guide took a group of children on a walking tour of the Niagara Gorge bellow the waterfalls, along a particularly treacherous area last Tuesday.
Police say Lubowska strayed off the marked trail, slipped off a rock, and was swept away by the river.
The paper says the tour guide did not have a permit to lead the group of about 20.
