A Brooklyn animal shelter owner is offering a reward for the return of his missing two-headed turtle.

Sean Casey says someone stole the one-year-old turtle from his pet store Sunday afternoon.

The turtle had been on display for two to three weeks so children could learn about the animal and interact with it.

"My impression is that it was a neighborhood kid who's seen the turtle and wanted it for himself," said Casey. "There would be a market value for the turtle. It's an oddity, they're rare. They do exist, they're not one of kind, but they are very, very rare."

Casey says this turtle needs extra attention, because it can't dive and could easily drown because of its two heads.
