Still reeling after a deadly car crash this weekend critically injured a Brooklyn minister, and killed his wife and grandson, members of a Brooklyn church gathered for a vigil last night in Crown Heights.

Parishioners of Grace Tabernacle Christian Center are hoping Reverend Timothy Wright will be able to return home soon.

The 61-year-old pastor was traveling with his wife, Betty, and their grandson, D.J., from a gospel convention in Detroit, Michigan, when their car was hit on Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania. State police say the driver of the other car, who was also killed in the crash, was on the wrong side of the road.

The Grammy-nominated Reverend Wright is known for gospel hits such as "Who's on The Lord's Side" and "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus...", which was written by his wife.
