Funeral services were held Sunday for the woman who collapsed and died at a Brooklyn hospital last month as staff members ignored her.
Family and friends gathered to say goodbye to Esmin Green, 49, at Jesus is Lord Church on Glenwood Road in Canarsie. She will be buried in her native Jamaica.
"My heart is broken," said Tecia Harrison, the victim's daughter. "I knew I'd eventually lose her, but not the way she went."
Green died two weeks ago after waiting more than 24 hours in the psychiatric ward of Kings County Hospital.
Security cameras show her collapse and go into convulsions on the floor. She was left there for more than an hour as workers and fellow patients walked by.
Six employees have been fired since the incident. The city announced last week that patients in the hospital's emergency room will now be checked every 15 minutes and the number of patients will be limited to 25.
The city also paid for Green's funeral, but her loved ones said they want more to be done.
"They're supposed to go to jail. I said it before and I'll say it again: they're supposed to go to jail," said the victim's friend Pauleen Robinson.
An autopsy is being conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
