Police are investigating allegations that the suspect in the murder and mutilation of a Staten Island man was sexually abused by him.

The victim's stepdaughter — 26-year-old Brigitte Harris — checked herself into a mental ward on Staten Island.

As of Monday night, police were still waiting to question her.

The body of Eric Goodridge, 55, of Staten Island was found bound, gagged and castrated in an apartment on Beach 69th Street in the Rockaways Saturday.

The landlord tells NY1 that the tenant — believed to be Harris — called 911, then left.

The medical examiner says Goodridge died of gagging and neck compression.
