Police have a suspect in custody for the shooting at a Coney Island apartment building that left one person dead.
Joseph Brown was arrested at a friend's home Saturday morning, but charges against him are still pending.
Authorities say the Brown, 29, opened fire inside the Gravesend Houses yesterday, killing a man while wounding another two men and one woman.
Family members say Angel Rivera, 28, died at the scene.
"All I know is my brother was in there, just I don't know he opened the door and he just got shot," one resident said. "It's crazy, life is too short for this. And people just don't understand that."
The relationship between Brown and the people he allegedly shot remains unclear.
