A four-alarm fire ripped through a building in lower Manhattan Sunday morning.

Authorities say nearly 140 firefighters responded to the fire, which occurred in a five-story building near the corner of Fulton Street and Nassau Street.

Officials say the fire was under control just before 9:40 a.m.

They say no building residents were hurt.

Three firefighters were treated for minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
