Police are investigating after a man was shot Saturday night on a Queens sidewalk.

The shooting happened at around 10:30 p.m. Saturday along 90th Avenue, near 175th Street in Jamaica.

Police say the 22-year-old victim was shot several times.

He was taken to Jamaica Hospital in serious condition.

"Very sad to see that," said one person in the neighborhood. "This was a bad neighborhood 10, 15 years ago, but right now, it's a very good place. I'm very disappointed with what happened today."

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
