Police are looking for a man who they say slashed and robbed a livery cab driver in the Bronx.

Police say the 68-year-old driver picked up a man in East Tremont last Wednesday morning.

They say the man asked to go to one location, then asked to be dropped off somewhere else.

When the driver stopped, police say the man slashed his right hand and demanded money.

The driver handed over an unknown amount of cash and his attacker fled the scene.

Police say the driver was treated at the hospital.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
