Three Bronx high school athletes accused of hazing a fellow student appeared in court for the first time Friday.

Pier Berkmans, 17, Thomas Brady, 16, and Boubacar Diallo, 16, are all charged with forcible touching, assault and hazing after a freshman member of their Bronx Science track team accused them of several attacks.

The judge signed orders of protection to prevent the students from contacting the alleged victim.

Angel Cruz, Diallo's said he expects the case will go to trial.

"Like any criminal allegation, it's a lot of pressure, especially when this case has grown," Cruz said. "It's bigger than what the allegations are. We're talking about Bronx Science and the reputation of Bronx Science."

The students are next set to appear in court later this month.
