Wet snow caused slippery conditions on city streets Friday.
Snow flurries continued until around midday Friday before changing to rain.
The city suspended alternate side parking regulations Friday to facilitate snow removal.
Alternate side parking will also be suspended citywide for Saturday.
Meters and other parking regulations remained in effect.
While the snow gave commuters a little trouble, some welcomed the storm.
"I don't mind a couple hours of snow and then a nice, wet weekend," said one resident.
"Nice to finally see snow," said another. "We didn't get it earlier in the winter. But I'd rather have the showers right now."
"I say we're blessed because we're supposed to have had a winter," said a third. "We didn't have it two years ago, remember. We had it good. But it's still slippery. So you have to hope not to fall, in my case."
Public schools were in session and garbage and recycling collections were on schedule.
