A homeless man is in the hospital after a stabbing inside the 59th Street subway station on Lexington Avenue Thursday afternoon.
Police say the 32-year-old victim was slashed across the chest with a box cutter just after noon.
Police say he was stabbed during an argument with another man.
His assailant escaped on a southbound 6 train.
