Officials have determined a woman whose body was found in a drum inside a Harlem apartment was stabbed to death.
Police found Francis Angelica Alfonso Pellerano, 19, inside the 55-gallon drum in a Seventh Avenue apartment Saturday night.
The medical examiner has now ruled the case a homicide, saying the teen had multiple stab wounds.
Pellerano is believed to have lived in the apartment with her boyfriend and his grandmother.
The grandmother made the initial call to 911 complaining of a foul odor coming from her grandson's room.
He was taken to Saint Luke's for a psychiatric evaluation.
By Wednesday afternoon no arrests had been made.
