One of Chinatown's biggest discount bus companies is running on fumes.
The Fung Wah bus service has been barred from operating out of Boston's South Station, effectively suspending the company's operation.
Federal regulators had ordered Fung Wah's entire fleet of 28 buses off the road after Massachusetts inspectors found safety issues, including cracked frames.
However, the company continued to operate using chartered buses and three buses that passed inspection.
