Yankees center fielder Curtis Granderson is expected to be out for the next 10 weeks after he suffered a broken forearm in the team's Saturday spring training game against Toronto.

Granderson was hit by a pitch in the first inning of the game.

X-rays revealed the broken right forearm.

The injury means that Granderson is expected to miss the first month of the regular season.

Granderson led the Yankees with 43 home runs in 2012.
