The 9-year-old boy allegedly thrown from the roof of a Bronx apartment building earlier this month is out of a coma, according to his cousin.

Freddy Martin had been placed in a medically-induced coma after being taken to the hospital with severe injuries.

The Bronx District Attorney says Martin was thrown off the roof of his Nelson Avenue building in Morris Heights on February 1.

A grand jury has indicted Casmine Aska, 17, on attempted murder and assault charges in the case.

Prosecutors say Aska dragged Martin by the legs to the roof and then threw him off.
