Police were searching Monday for a suspect wanted in connection with a sexual assault on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

The man seen in the above police sketch is suspected of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman on East 58th Street on Sunday morning.

Police say he waited for the woman to get out of a yellow cab, grabbed her from behind and dragged her into an alleyway, where he assaulted her.

The suspect is described as a 35- to 40-year-old male who is about 190 pounds who wore dark clothing.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
