A roaming farm animal eventually led to a tricky chase Wednesday night on the streets of Brooklyn.

Police say it all began when a goat was spotted roaming around Bedford-Stuyvesant outside the Interfaith Medical Center on Atlantic Avenue.

Officers had a tough time catching the animal but they were eventually able to wrangle him with the help of a security guard who actually used to catch goats in his native country.

"This animal is not dangerous. He's not going to harm nobody. And me especially, I grew up in...my father was a farmer, and we have a lot of goats and stuff and that was easy for me to catch it," said the guard.

Animal Care & Control says the 5-year-old male is healthy.

It's still unclear where the animal came from.
