Business owners struggling after Hurricane Sandy can now get some extra help from the state.

Governor Andrew Cuomo says New York is offering free health and safety inspections to businesses in an effort to help them reopen sooner.

He says it'll save owners about $4,000.

Owners can make appointments by calling the State Department of Labor at 1-888-4-NYSDOL (1-888-469-7365) or by going to its website at www.labor.ny.gov/workerprotection/safetyhealth/safetyhealthtourism.shtm.
