Police were searching Sunday for the person who shot and killed a man in Queens the previous night.

Authorities found 24-year-old Jahim Campbell on Saturday night in a basement apartment at the LeFrak City housing complex.

He had been shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The murder breaks an unusually long nine-day streak of no murders in the city.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
