A city woman was killed Friday after being struck by a bus in Brooklyn.

The New York City Police Department says it happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue K and East 105 Street in Canarsie.

Police say Lorraine Ferguson, 47, was struck and killed while walking with her husband.

Investigators say a charter bus driver was making a left hand turn on East 105 Street and didn't see her.

Her husband says the driver blew by a stop sign.

"He doesn't stop at the stop sign. If he stopped at the stop sign my wife would be alive today. He did not stop, he just came down and just turned and that's it," said the victim's husband, Michael Ferguson.

As of Friday afternoon no charges had been filed.

NY1 has reached out to the owners of the bus "Rides Unlimited Nassau and Suffolk" for comment.
