FEMA is extending the amount of time Sandy Victims can stay in hotels.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo says displaced residents now have until Jan. 26.

The prior deadline had been set for Jan. 12.

The housing is being provided at participating hotels and motels while hurricane victims look for a long term housing solution.
