An elderly woman is recovering after being shot three times by stray bullets in Brooklyn.

Police say 91-year-old Gloria Johnson was hit in the arm around 4:45 p.m. near the intersection of Blake and Miller Avenues in East New York.

Her family says she's in good spirits at Brookdale Hospital and even asked doctors when she could go home.

The family also says doctors are still trying to find one of three bullets lodged in her arm.

Police say the woman was not the intended target.

A deli owner who works at the intersection says he heard four shots total, possibly from a drive-by shooting.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
