Pet owners are being urged to reclaim their animals at an emergency boarding facility set up in Brooklyn following Hurricane Sandy.
Operations at the shelter in Bedford-Stuyvesant are winding down.
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said while many pets were reunited with their families, close to 150 remain at the shelter waiting to be claimed.
It said it wants to have all pets picked up by Sunday, and will look for placement for all unclaimed animals.
Those with missing pets are urged to get to the facility as soon as possible.
It's located at 1508 Herkimer Street in Brooklyn.
