The New York City Housing Authority says all of its buildings are back on the power grid.

Although electricity has been flowing for more than a month, many public housing buildings were relying on generators.

The Ocean Bay Apartments in Arverne were the last to be restored.

Meanwhile, in Lower Manhattan, most private operators of temporary generators and boilers are still breaking the rules, according to the city.

According to Department of Environmental Protection numbers released by City Councilwoman Margaret Chin, as of last week, only six of 87 boilers and generators had a current registration.

Another 45 had applications in the works.

That is still better than on December 7, when 117 boilers and generators did not have the proper paperwork.

The DEP said it will continue to do inspections and issue violations.
