Applications are now being accepted for Federal Disaster Food aid.

Residents living in eligible zip codes can apply for the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or "D-SNAP" through next Tuesday.

You must apply in person.

There are two locations -- one at 495 Clermont Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn. The other is on Staten Island at New Dorp High School on New Dorp Lane.

There is a short form to fill out and eligibility will be determined based on household income, resources, and disaster-related expenses.

To check if you live in one of the 12 targeted areas, visit nychungerfree.com/disaster-snap.
