A facility in Virginia is set to begin shipping temporary housing for some displaced Sandy victims.

Factory Expo Homes recently completed the first mobile home to be taken to the grounds of Faith Church in New Milford, Connecticut.

Then, starting December 23, the Faith Church will welcome displaced families from Staten Island.

A Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation official tells a Virginia newspaper former Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Staten Island Borough President James Molinaro asked for the foundation's help after Sandy hit.

The paper says the foundation ordered 15 single-wide homes and could order more.
