Officials at New York University Langone Medical Center say they plan to bring back some inpatient care services to their main hospital before the year ends.
After being evacuated in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the Manhattan medical medical announced today it is planning a phased reopening of Tisch Hospital by the end of the month.
It hopes to return nearly all services by the end of January.
That would include portions of the Emergency Department - despite significant damage it sustained because of the storm.
Many of NYU's clinics are currently open with extended hours and services.
The NYU School of Medicine is also up and running.
