The Knicks were defeated by the Nets 96-89 in an overtime victory at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn Monday night.
Fans poured through the doors of the Barclays Center Monday night to the game that had been postponed because of Sandy.
It was the first time the two teams faced each other in the new arena.
It was a nail-biter but Brooklyn defended their home court, giving them a tie for first place with the Knicks.
The teams meet again Dec. 11, also in Brooklyn.
