A man is reportedly expected to face charges in the death of his sister's 15-year-old stepdaughter, who was found dead Friday in a Bronx apartment building.

The New York Daily News reports Luis Vega, 34, will likely be charged with the murder of Destiny Sanchez.

Vega has already been charged with endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly giving Destiny alcohol in the hours before she was killed.

Her body was found Friday morning in a building on Barretto Street.

The medical examiner says Destiny was smothered and suffered compression injuries to her neck.
