Skating fans can now head to the Bronx to take a spin on the ice.
The new Van Cortlandt Park Ice Skating Rink officially opened Monday and will be open every day through March 30.
Visitors can rent skates, helmets, lockers, and even take lessons.
"We have a skating school planned for this year, we'll be holding group classes after school and Saturday and Sunday mornings," said Rink Project Manager Ron Kraut.
