Things got off to a little bit of a late start at one consolidated polling site in Brooklyn this morning.
Voters couldn't cast ballots right away at Lincoln High School in Coney Island.
They faced shorter lines than at some other places in the city when things got going, but several voters said they had experienced problems.
"It was frustrating because we were moved here from a different building, a different place, because our area was affected by the flood, and they didn't have our table, so we did have to vote by affidavit, and I'm not sure my vote is going to be counted, because they didn't even know where to put it. You know, it's just like, it's a mess, really," said one voter.
"The only problem was that we didn't know where to go. People told us on the street. There's no sign there, at our regular polling place, which is in our building where we live. There was no sign that told us where to go, but someone on the street told us," said another voter.
The high school has come a long way since Sandy hit last week.
At one point, the cafeteria serving as the polling site was under five feet of water.
