Officials ID Four Sandy-Related Deaths On Staten Island

Police released details Wednesday on four people on Staten Island whose deaths were connected to Sandy.

Authorities say Leonard Montalto, 53, was found dead in his house at 176 Fox Beach Avenue, down the street from the house where 51-year-old John Filpowizz Sr. and 20-year-old John Filpowizz Jr. were found dead under rubble.

Ella Norris, 89, was found unconscious in her home at 728 Buel Avenue by police officer on Tuesday afternoon.

Andrew Semarco, 61, was found unresponsive in his home at 146 Mills Avenue by police on Tuesday afternoon. The medical examiner was still determining the cause of his death on Wednesday.

James Rossi, 85, was reported missing at late Tuesday morning. The following day, his body was found in deep water in his backyard at 575 Quincy Avenue.
