Public Housing Residents Asked To Leave Zone A Homes

Those who are staying in New York City Housing Authority development in low-lying Zone A areas from Sunday night onward will not have elevator service, heat or hot water during Hurricane Sandy.

Heat and hot water has also been shut off in these buildings.

There are 26 developments in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens that are affected.
