Police are searching for the hit-and run driver who killed a man in Brooklyn.
Investigators say the 42-year-old victim was walking south on Vermont Place in East New York Sunday afternoon when he was hit by a white car heading west on Highland Boulevard.
The driver fled the scene and the victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
According to sources, witnesses say the car in question may have been a livery cab.
