Police in the Bronx are looking for two people after a man was shot in front of a bank and robbed of $13,000 Friday morning.
The New York City Police Department says it happened shortly after 8:30 a.m. in front of an HSBC bank located at 1360 East Bay Avenue in Hunts Point.
A worker from the Mid Bronx Haulage company was going to make a deposit when police say two men stopped him, robbed him and shot him in the stomach.
"I just seen him coming into the bank, holding his stomach full of blood. Oh he came into the bank? Yeah - he was limping. He was like I got shot I got shot."
The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital and is expected to recover.
