Barbara Streisand performed the first of two sold-out shows at Barclays Center Thursday night.
The 10-time Grammy winner grew up in Flatbush and graduated from Erasmus Hall High School.
Fans were happy to see the Brooklyn native come home.
"I'm a Brooklyn girl," said one. "I love her."
"This is probably the last time she'll probably do this for a while," said a second. "So I'm happy that I get to see it."
"It's absolutely thrilling," said a third. "She's from Brooklyn and this fabulous arena is just terrific. And just to see Barbara herself is a dream come true."
"I love her films," said a fourth. "I love everything about her. You can't go wrong by seeing her."
Streisand is the second performer to take the stage at Barclays. Brooklyn native Jay-Z wrapped up an eight-show run at the newly-opened arena last Saturday.
