The rainy weather couldn't dampen the spirits as the 75th annual Pulaski Day Parade took place Sunday.
Colorful floats and festive music took over every block from 36th to 56th Street.
Those we spoke with say showing their polish pride is a family affair.
"They were born in America. I was not," said parade-goer Adam Gawronski. "So I'm trying to give them a taste of both countries, America and Poland."
"This parade is important to me because it's about my heritage and background, which is Poland," said parade-goer Phillip Gawronski.
"It's really fun," said parade-goer Camilla Gawronski. "Now I know Polish better so I like it more."
Organizers call the parade "the largest manifestation of Polish pride in America."
