Andy Warhol's rendition of the Statue of Liberty will be up for auction Nov. 14 at Christie's Fine Art Auction House in Rockefeller Plaza.
Painted in 1962, it marks the beginning of Warhol's experimentation with 3-D imagery.
Warhol got his inspiration from a postcard.
In honor of Warhol’s use of 3-D, Christie’s will include 3-D glasses and a 3-D section in their evening sale catalogue.
Believed to be the only 3-D Warhol painting still in private hands, it is expected to draw at least $35 million.
