A prison guard may soon find himself on the other side of a jail cell for allegedly sneaking drugs into Rikers Island.
According to the Department of Investigations, 38-year-old Lashar Williams received $1,200 worth of bribes dating back to February.
In return, they say he delivered marijuana and other drugs to the inmates.
They say Williams was caught in a sting where he accepted $700 to deliver what he thought were Oxycontin pills but were actually placebos.
A City Correction officer since 1999, Williams faces a slew of charges, including receiving bribes, drug possession and official misconduct.
