A Brooklyn family is desperately searching for a missing teenager with mental health issues.

Police say Michael Suarez Jr., 19, was last seen on August 31 at his home at 22-26 61st Street in Mapleton.

His family says the teen is schizophrenic, and does not have his medication.

This is the first time Suarez has gone missing.

Family members say he's known to ride the subway system.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
