Police arrested Monday a man in connection with a series of eight Bronx robberies, including three incidents where victims were threatened with a needle.
Angel Cintron, 39, of the Bronx, seen above, was charged with robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.
Sources say detectives tracked down Cintron in Westchester County earlier Monday after receiving an anonymous tip.
There have been at least eight attacks in the Bronx since mid-August. Three victims were threatened with a hypodermic needle, and one was threatened with a knife.
By late Monday, police had not determined whether a Saturday subway attack on the Upper West Side that involved a hypodermic needle was connected with the Bronx incidents.
