Police are searching for a man they say tried to rape a 3-year-old girl in her own bedroom in Queens.

Investigators say the girl's father found the man in her bedroom in their Jamaica home and removed him.

The intruder then ran off.

Sources told NY1 earlier that the girl told her mother she'd been touched.

There were no visible signs of trauma on the girl but she was taken to Jamaica Hospital for treatment.
