A 2-month-old boy is recovering from smoke inhalation after a fire engulfed a Manhattan building Sunday night.

The New York City Fire Department says flames broke out around 6:30 p.m. on the third floor of an apartment building located at 426 East 118th Street in East Harlem.

The child was taken to Harlem Hospital in serious condition.

Four firefighters and another tenant suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
