Police have released a new photo of a man wanted in connection with a series of car fires in upper Manhattan last week.

Investigators believe the man, pictured above, set fire to 15 cars in Hamilton Heights and Harlem in the early morning hours of September 11.

Each vehicle was torched on a different street.

The motive remains unclear.

The man is said to have a thin to medium build.

He was last seen wearing a dark-colored shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and carrying a light blue drawstring backpack.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
