Edvard Munch's painting "The Scream" is coming to New York.

The famed work will go on display at the Museum of Modern Art on October 24.

It's the most expensive artwork ever sold at auction.

A private collector paid almost $120 million for it in May.

The artwork is also famous for being targeted by thieves in 2004, but is not the copy being displayed at the MoMA.

Munch actually created four versions of "The Scream" between 1893 and 1910.

The painting will be on display until the end of April.
