The city's red light camera revenue appears to be stuck in neutral.
The Daily News reports the revenue from red light camera tickets is down 33 percent as drivers wise up to the location of cameras and either avoid them or drive more carefully.
The city handed out more than 810,000 summonses over the last fiscal year, down from 943,000 the previous year.
Revenue from those summonses fell from $70 million to $47 million.
City officials say the cameras have increased safety.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg has lobbied Albany for permission to add more cameras.
