Little Italy hosted the San Gennaro parade Saturday.

The parade kicked off at Most Precious Blood Church on Baxter Street at 2 p.m.

This year's grand marshals included singer Connie Francis and State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli.

The 86th annual festival honoring the Patron Saint of Naples got underway Thursday.

The 11-day feast features colorful parades, music, entertainment and a wide variety of food from restaurants all over the city.

Organizers expect more than a million people to attend.

The festival runs along Mulberry Street between Canal and Houston Streets through Sunday, September 23.
