A 19-year-old pleaded not guilty Thursday to murder charges in connection with the shooting death of a 4-year-old boy in the Bronx.
Ronald Jeffrey was arraigned Thursday in State Supreme Court in the Bronx.
4-year-old Lloyd Morgan was hit in the head when shots were fired during a basketball tournament in July in Morrisania.
Morgan's mother, Shianne Norman, attended the arraignment and said she had no sympathy for Jeffrey.
"I really don't have any feelings as far as they're concerned," she said. "I'm here for justice for my son. That's it. I don't have any feelings for the family or for the gentleman at all."
17-year-old Rondell Pinkerton and 26-year-old Courtney Kelly are also charged in connection with the killing.
Jeffrey and Pinkerton are due back in court in November.
Kelly has a court date for September 26.
