Police said Friday that they arrested the teen they say shot and killed a 13-year-old in Brooklyn.
17-year-old Akbar Johns is being charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police had been looking for him since late August.
Sources say Ronald Wallace was with some friends near Tapscott Street and Blake Avenue in Brownsville on the morning of August 25.
They got into an argument with another group when gunfire erupted.
Wallace was shot in the back and later died at the hospital.
